The cows are coming home
The air turns crisp. The mountains glow in warm shades of gold and amber. And somewhere in the distance, you can already hear them: the bells of beautifully decorated cows making their way back down the valley.
The Almabtrieb (traditionally cattle drive) at Lake Achensee isn´t a performance. It´s a centuries-old Tyrolean tradition. A celebration for everyone who appreciates autheticity. With live music. Regional delicacies. Dirndl, lederhose and countless little moments that stay with you long after the day is over.
In between, there´s plenty of time for lakeside walks, a few relaxing hours in the Karwendel Spa or a leisurely afternoon with coffee and homemade cake.
