Founded in 1934, the Golf and Country Club Achensee is Tyrol’s oldest golf club and is just a five-minute walk from Wiesenhof. It’s also one of Austria’s top-ranked courses (and the country’s second-oldest). The 18 holes flow gently across emerald meadows, lined with mature trees and set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop. Despite its altitude of around 1,000 metres, the course is surprisingly smooth and challenges you with intriguing greens, long fairways, and clever bunkers.
